Reliving Childhood Memories: Ferries

I was so ecstatic thinking about going back to Penang. I miss my family and friends too much..Alas~nearly all the tickets were sold out except for 1 ticket going to Butterworth. I felt a bit down already, but still making up my mind that I want to take the ferry to the island. The bus ride was bad enough, with me sitting next to ketiak-tak-basuh-sebulan guy and it's a 4-seater bus. Cramped and by the time I've arrived at Butterworth, I felt like I aged 20 years..hahaha..sakit pinggang..sakit leher..semua ada..takde minyak yu yee cap limau je..

Sebab dah lama tak datang sini,so jakun dengan perubahan feri.. :p

Tempat bayar tambang feri..still the same..like ol' times :)

But but but,mind you..tambang dah tak sama..Dulu aku naik, RM0.60 je kot. Sekarang RM1.20..Double price! 

"Ok Anne Jalil,tanya sket..bila yang ko naik tu?"

"Ermm..masa kecik2 dulu??"

"Memang la tak sama ngok..Ingat harga minyak makin turun ke?"

"Hehehe..*maluu*"

Mesti sedia banyak-banyak duit syiling keyh nak naik feri. Dorang terima syiling je..Gila old school..hahaha..

Tempat menunggu masih sama..

Tempat menunggu still sama..Teringat zaman umo 4-5 tahun dengan muka bertempek bedak tak rata (tapi pelik masih comel,kalau sekarang,kalah orang bersalin),posing comel-comel untuk ayah yang masih berjiwa muda semangat nak mengabadikan gambar anak-anak dia.

Cuma semakin banyak notis je. Sebab orang zaman sekarang semakin tak faham bahasa. Nak kena main pakai notis baru dorang faham. Intelek la katakan..Tapi balut la jeti feri dengan notis sekali pun, kalo dah tak faham bahasa and hati kering, dorang takkan pedulik.tsk tsk..

Aaah..tempat nak test kegemilangan rambut rebonding..mode perasan model..ehem ehem..

Aktiviti wajib..camwhoring.. -_-"

Serious asyik tersenyum sorang-sorang (tapi cover la depan orang..mesti maintain cun) sebab asyik teringat zaman-zaman kanak-kanak yang penuh kesusahan. Sekarang dah terlampau kena pampered dengan luxury of transportation and etc. Mind you,bukan la sekarang kaya gila boleh beli Porsche or rumah banglo RM3.4 juta. Just zaman sekarang tak sesusah zaman dulu (gaya cakap macam dh tua bangka idop zaman jepun >_<). Terasa feri tu comel bila tengok dia usung lori,kereta, moto and orang ke hulu ke hilir. Yang orang pulak, the moment feri tu gerak, trus lari pegi bersidai kat pagar feri. Kononnya amik angin bayu lah..Haha..This ride took me about 10 minutes from mainland to island. 

Actually nak tangkap gambar banyak-banyak. Tapi bila fikir malu (sebab naik sorang-sorang) and risau beg-beg banyak takdak orang jaga (hey hey,my curl iron IS important hokay..hurmm..I guess??),dibatalkan niat gedik tu. Lagipun takdak camera dslr yang canggih manggih tu..Takleh nk ber'artistik' sangat la. "Ayaaaah..nak camera dslr for my upcoming birthday present?Pleaseee..*mode mata bersinar-sinar*"

The Case of Lubang Hidung~

I was blogwalking when I stumbled upon this nice blog talking about the evolution of nose shape. I've decided to cover about this too..but with my own witty way..not-so-serious entry..

Well people with wide,flat nose live in humid weather. This due to humidity and it's actually hard to breathe in humid weather, making our lung lack of oxygen and have to inhale like big volume of air..

Anne's witty comment: oooo..kira makin panas cuaca makin besar la yek lubang hidung??sep bek kat Malaysia ni panas-panas sedang je..so saiz hidung pun sedang-sedang je la..

Well, meanwhile in desert places like Saudi Arabia, the people's noses evolved into hawk-shaped nose. This probably because to protect them from inhaling desert's sand blowing on their face..

Anne's witty comments: Jangan la kira those lucky bast people yang progenies dari kawen campur-campur dengan mat salleh/arab tu..jealous kot dengan hidung dorang..

The lucky Caucasians, whom have long narrow noses are adaptation to colder climates because a nose such as this can warm and moisten the air more before it enters the lungs.

Anne's witty comment: Serious kena pegi duduk Hollywood dalam 10 tahun ka..untung-untung balik Malaysia hidung mancung..tak payah susah buat plastic surgery..mahal kot..

Here's another interesting info (I won't say fact though)..I was watching this Korean variety show (can't remember the which show),this Feng Shui master told the emcees that,the more bigger and obvious the nostrils are, the lesser money they can save. Obvious is the key here. If you can see someone's nostril just in plain view without you having to bow down and literally search for his/her nostrils, then this means that person,can't save his/her money. They have the tendency to spend instead of saving..Aaahh..I always wonder where all my money gone..now I know..hahaha..

Guess who has the most money/saving??

p/s: As I said this before, thank God la kita dok kat Malaysia yang cuaca sedang-sedang ni,kalau tak,makin besar la my lubang hidung and makin cepat la duit i habis..macam nak saving ni??(alasan yang stupid Anne Jalil..tsk tsk :D)

It may sounds absurd..but I do found this theory engaging..it's fun reading about personalities based on blood types and horoscopes..This fad was brought popular by the Japanese..They even conducted scientific studies aimed to breed better soldiers..Wow! I wonder if I can breed a better boyfriend??haha..

Type A
Mutation of blood type O around 20,000 BC gave rise to blood type A.

Macaroons oh macaroons~

How do I know the existent of macaroons? "Well,gather around boys and girls!! it's time for Anne's special"...hahaha..

I was playing with Baking Life on Facebook where I have to cook the macaroons..I was like,what the heck macaroons are? So asked Uncle Google and wallaaa...

Uncle Google spurted out these fabulous pictures..My sweet tooth is craving for them already!

And I wondered, are they difficult to be found in Kuala Lumpur?? Because I never seen them before in typical bakeries..So guys,any info where I can sink my teeth on these yummylicious macaroons..please please lemme know ya..I did found several blogs which sell homemade macaroons like this one, Bite me!..but I would prefer to try them in commercial bakeries first..You know..the first taste and impression..hehe..

Arm with maps,car and cash (for fuel and lots of mcaroons of course!)..I wanna go to Levain Boulangerie Patisserie at Jalan Delima off Jalan Imbi..

Paranormal Movie Session

Agak paranormal for me menonton movie Paranormal Activity 2..why why why??

1. Masa lepas tengok Paranormal Activity 1, siap angkat sumpah bahawasanya saya tidak akan menonton cerita sebegini lagi (sebab rasa movie ni mengarut gila) di masa akan datang dihadapan Yang Berbahagia Min-sshi dan Mun-unnie..Tak sampai setahun jagung, pegi tengok yang No.2..hihihi..

2. Semalam, saya bersungguh-sungguh meyakinkan adik saya yang bersungguh-sungguh nak tengok cerita Paranormal Activity 2 yang sesungguhnya tak best (dari pengalaman Paranormal Activity 1)..

3. Menonton movie ni dengan Miss Wahida sebab kami 2 orang ni sesungguhnya amatlah 'berani' tengok cerita seram-seram ni..Tak penah dibuat sebelum ini..kononnya nak try lah..at last,sorang tutup muka, sorang lagi tutup telinga dan mata (sapekah manusia ini??buat rugi je..kikiki)...badan dah melorot jauh..lagi sikit je dah nak baring atas lantai cinema tu..hihi..

Overall, ok lah..takde la marvelous nak bagi sampai 5 bintang..tapi quite interesting sebab dia ada jalan cerita..and beware..before nak tengok Paranormal Activity 2,mesti tengok Paranormal Activity 1 dulu sebab ada connection. Kalau tak tengok,jadik macam I lah..sambil tutup telinga dan mata (kantoi??) sambil explain kat Miss Wahida yang tak tengok Paranormal Activity 1..hebat kan??multitasking..I'm versatile yawh!hihi..

p/s:Bersungguh-sungguh menggunakan bahasa baku kerana rindukan Encik Ch'ng Wei Choong yang amat suka berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa baku..

Finally..macam suspen je kan???Finally..Finally..Internet connection in my room!!!yahooo..memang dah wujud lame dah..sebab ada satu pagi,bangun-bangun tido mamai nak pegi toilet,terkejut nampak lelaki ramai kat aras..pasang alat yang mencurigakan kat bumbung..adakah cctv???tsk tsk..takkan lah universiti nak buat kerja tak senonoh terang-terangan..so dengan bimbonya,conclude tu alat detect kebakaran...wakakakakakaka..punya la busuk perangai..tak penah nak update..

Sampailah labmate beritahu yang tu adalah alat wireless..ooooooooooo...tapi malu nak ngaku yang mula2 ingat tu fire alarm..jatuh saham weyh!So secara pantas heret besties pegi daftar...terharu!sekarang dah dapat internet dalam bilik..tak perlu dah bergolek2 ikan paus kebosanan dalam bilik..

Tapi agak frust sebab bajet laju sebab tengok indicator dia asyik kaler turquoise ja..tapi internet jalan macam tortoise..huhu...takpe la..bersyukur..

Mari menonton jejaka kacak dalam YouTube..eh???tidak tidak..mari menambah ilmu dengan melayari ScienceDirect (in my dream!)...

Oh nooo..fret not my dears..I'm not going to write about my kisah cinta terhebat abad ini..it's about girl-to-girl relationship..nooooo..We're NOT lesbo or lesbi..Dah 2 tahun jadik 'neighbour'..UPM dengan Putrajaya kira neighbour la tu..baru tergedik-gedik nak ajak lepak..hampeh betoi aku ni..hahaha..so, bawak la Miss Gomen ni pegi Jusco Balakong..Dia tak penah pegi kot..ehh??iye??

Summary perjalanan (nanti orang bosan baca)..Putrajaya-UPM-Jusco Balakong-KFC-Hantu Kak Limah Balik Kampung (COUPLE SEAT)-Starbucks-Putrajaya-UPM-Putrajaya...

So, crita Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah takde la best gila-babeng-jadi-saya-bagi-5-bintang..Taaaak..tapi boleh la..still rasa annoyed and agak tak paham macam mana orang bleh bagi good review sampai saya pun termakan pujuk rayu..Yela,tiket cerita ni asyik sold out jee..Miss Gomen lagi best..tertidoq terus dalam wayang..terbaik!Yang paling terbaik,kami beli couple seat..masa masuk,orang keliling dah tengok kami macam lesbo...inilah Melayu! (Gaya YB Kg Pisang...).Kami tak peluk-peluk pun..

At Starbuck, seat kusyen-lembut-lembut-rasa-macam-nak-tido-masa-duduk dah penuh,so terpaksa duduk kawasan smoking area..hambik ko,terkeluar lubang idong hidu asap rokok..effect dia sama ja macam kami hisap rokok..nyaris nak gi beli sekotak dah..alang-alang menyeluk pekasam,biarlah sampai ke pangkal lengan..hahaha..
