Shihlin Taiwan Street Snack: My New-Found Love!

Well, when you're working in a small neighborhood mall, with only 45 minutes to spare for your break, with scorching heat outside, of course you will reluctantly settled with food courts until you're bored and started looking for new place to eat. I was intrigued by this quaint little shop, Shihlin Taiwan Street Snack. The foods look yummylicious but I was skeptic whether it's halal or not. Until my supervisor let me try some of her mee sua..By less than 24 hours, I'm already in love with this shop..Hihihi..
I went there numerous times for their super delicious sweet potato, the XXL fried chicken and my current favorite menu...The rice box set..

Sweet potato *love love love*
For RM4.50, it's quite a lot and I can't stop munching on them..And I can't stop complaining on my waistline..Hahaha..

Then, I was intrigued by this one particular menu, seafood tempura (RM6.50) and disappointingly found out that it was actually 'keropok lekor' with fancy name..Might as well buy them at night market..Cheaper and delicious.. :)

Seafood tempura
Sebenarnya keropok lekor..cit!
Their signature dish, oyster mee sua..It was okay to me..Not exactly my kind of taste..I declined the oyster though..It looks scary *after my bad experiences with raw oyster..hehe*

My favorite dish here! The rice box set with drink of my choice..Rice flavored with soy sauce *i think so* with fried chicken and yummylicious tofu..My tummy i singing happily after I ate them..And keep thinking about them again and again..Even up to this minute..The minus point is....it is quite expensive to a student/part-time worker like me.RM10.50 per set..But it is worth it!!

Will I go again?? Of course! Especially when I have extra cash..OMG!

Finally..Somebody has to say enough~

When you're living in a hostel, you have to cope with lots of thing that you didn't like or hate. For example, I really despise inconsiderate people a.k.a lazy people. I'm not saying I'm not lazy. No..I'm lazy as hell *you can ask my mom* but at least I'm not dirty and still consider others' feeling.
I've been fuming when I saw that a certain set of inconsiderate students who did not throw away their leftover food  into the dustbin and decided to make the sink a 'temporary' dustbin..Hello! There are 2 big green dustbin outside the toilet. I can't see why it is soooo hard to throw away your waste first before proceeding to the toilet..Some of us are brushing our teeth and washing our faces there. Please imagine how would you feels when we're about to go to sleep and decide to brush our teeth first when you saw these yucky leftover food strewn all over and inside the sink??????
Then, I saw another set of inconsiderate people who washed their dishes at the place where we do our laundry..Imagine when you wants to wash your clothes when you saw bits of rice, veggies and worst, that sardine smell all over the place??? It's ok if you wants to wash them there, but please be sure to clean up after your mess..Again, please be considerate..
Worst of the worst, a certain set of inconsiderate, foolish and super-lazy people who actually had the nerves to throw away their leftover food inside the sanitary pad bin..OMG!! *macam syuaib Sepah selalu cakap*...The cleaner only change the bin once every two weeks, so can you imagine the foul smells coming from there?? Because the bin is meant for sanitary pad, not food!!
Then, before I can explode, there is a certain set of people who has been fuming *like me*, decided to act...

Totally agrees with you Ms Mysterious

We're educated people, why can we think like one?? Why we have to put up notices *with sarcasm* when you guys can actually think?? What is the purpose of your brain?? Just to sit prettily inside your head?? So don't complaint when people are treating you like a third-class mind because you're acting like one...

Notice the pimples?? It was actually even worse when you see them live..
Alas! Back to the original state..*please ignore my gedik selca*
What did I used???

First thing first, I removed all my make-up with these.. L'Oreal Eye and Lip Makeup Remover and The Face Shop Cleansing Wipes..
Then...
My saviour~
L'Oreal White Perfect Range with additional Garnier Light Scrub...
Then...
Additional steps...
Weekly sheet masks...
I used The Face Shop Cereal Mask Sheet Mask Sheet Rice and Herbal Therapy Tea Tree & Bergamot, Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Essence Mask Sheet and The Face Shop Raspberry Roots Collagen Eye Patch..My fave would be the Herbal Therapy Tea Tree & Bergamot Mask Sheet..Because it really soothed my pimples, lessen their appearances and redness..

Then finally, before I go to sleep....

Raspberry Roots Sleeping mask
This The Face Shop star product is not a star product if it doesn't deliver its claim..But luckily it does...I'm in love with this *even though it was pricey*..The smell is good and you really woke up to a baby skin-like feels..Smooth to the touch..And it's very simple..After my skincare regime, I just apply them of my face, get a good night sleep and wash them off with warm waters next morning.. :) Highly recommended!

Busy mode: All About Nail Colors~

It has a while been since I've last updated my blog..*aiyooh sudah berhabuk and berkarat olredi* The reason is, since my scholarship had reached its due date, I had to self-finance my master degree from that time onwards..Well, my dad is not a CEO of Kayu Balak Sdn Bhd (a.k.a tokey balak), I have to seek myself a job.. Jan jan!! Now I'm a Beauty Consultant at The Face Shop Jusco Mahkota Cheras..Please do visit me! Hehehe..Now I'm super busy balancing my master research, work and social life..But I'm loving it!! Well, some people asked me, why I didn't look for a job that is related with my study?? I did but then again, if I do work in research company, I'm going to have TWICE the pressure and the workloads I already have in order to finish my master. So I've decided to explore new field..Cosmetic and skin care..
Ok ok enough babbling rubbish..You people are yawning already..Hahaha..I just wanna share my new-found love...MANICURE..I totally in love with the color selection..But then again, when I look at my nails, I've realized I've been neglecting them too long! Besides, I'm working in the lab, what is the point of having nice colored nails when you have to hide them in gloves?? But now, I can wear them so that I can persuade the customers to buy them..Hihihihi..
Here are some of my first attempts, please ignore the messiness yah!

Using these items, I got these....

Using these, I got these...

Then I used pastel colors with the crack nail color..
The step is simple:
Base coat --> nail color --> topcoat --> The Face Shop crack nail color colections --> topcoat

Yes yes, I knew this was too much but they were on sale..50%..RM2.95 per color..cheap aight??

Then I apply crack nail color...And yes, it was messy..As I told you guys before, it was my first attempt and I'm still learning..

Having with making new friends with the Skin Food's Beauty Consultant next door, I explored their nail colors and I'm totally in love their packaging and their colors!! Couldn't help to buy them even though they are a bit pricey than The Face Shop..Now now, Etude House is just 2 shop lots away..hahaha..
