I was down with cold and flu yesterday..So never wonder I will missed the most upsetting news in my After-School-Loving life...Bekah is graduating..Due to family distress and her desire to further her study in design..True, I'm TRULY upset as she is my favorite rapper..I envy her body shape..Very healthy..And to me personally, she's very beautiful and talented..So sad to see my favorite girl group to lose such an amazing woman..I started to fall in love with her (in a harmless way..hehehe) since I first noticed her in After School's MV Bang! I think she is very beautiful and alluring..I really like her facial expression in that video.. T_T

After School Boys???

Pledis Entertainment announced that they're holding auditions for a new group that will be called 'After School Boys'...I have to admit, I'm flabbergasted and excited at the same time...First, why would Pledis want to name the group after a popular group (it will be like a sister/brother groups)? Could it be because Pledis was hoping that After School Boys will continue After School's successes?? (Well, After School is known for their fierce dance choreographies, unique concepts and pretty faces and etc which I can't list down right now because my mind is totally blank)...Second, will After School Boys will be as good as After School?? (I'm really really hoping they are, if not, there is no sense naming them after After School)...

Well, Kahi already named 2 of the boys.. Dongho and Jonghyun..Dongho had previously starred in After School's MV-Play Ur Love (oooo,it such a sweeeet song, I like!)...

This will be the first male group to be debuted under Pledis Entertainment..There will be possibilities of Pledis changing the name of the group..Whatever their name are, if they're good, I will supported them..Hwaiting!!!

Muzdalfa Fried Chicken: The New KFC???

I had another ‘makan-makan’ session with The Roommate, The New Friend and The Boyfriend (ehem, not mine though..hahaha)..This time we went to Muzdalfa Fried Chicken or MFC located at Bangi…The Roommate claimed that this restaurant is always pack with people so we concluded that it must be good and a must-try new restaurant. Taking a fast food concept like KFC, MFC serves fried chicken (original and spicy), variety burgers and additional pizza on their menu…

The Downside:

Before I started complaining, I must stress that we have NO absolute qualms against Muslim/Malay/local restaurants taking concepts like KFC, McD, Pizza Hut, Starbuck etc. In fact we are very happy to fully support them (even if we have to pay extra) providing they give us similar qualities like those well-known restaurants..

    1. Why it is always pack with people?? Because the service was ridiculously SLOW! At first we thought the food must be really good that people kept coming. How wrong we are! It should not be called fast-food restaurant. It should be named as slow-food restaurant. Most of the people I observed (including us!) were cringing just by looking at how slow the services are. Everything is at snail-paced. The order enquiries, the packing etc. FULLSTOP.

Just want to emphasize the number of people in a subtle way...asking them to pose..hahaha..

2  2. The foods are..hurm..very disappointing… The fries were soggy and tasted weird as if they were fry in recycled/unfiltered oil. The spicy fried chicken just tasted like original fried chicken only with extra breading. And I happened to get the weird-tasted original fried chicken. It was like I’m eating a non-fresh chicken. The dinner rolls were quite ok. So did the Chicken Tikka Pizza. It was ok so I won’t go hard on them..

The Good Side:

1.   1.I have to give 4.5 stars to their interiors. Well matched with KFC, McD etc…They even have condiments section complete with extra plates…In fact even better because they have prayer room facility in it. Equipped with Executive Room, playground etc… It’s a near customer-friendly outlet (oh well except for the counter services) Two tumbs up…Keep it up!

2.  2. The non-counter services are good because there are staffs ready to serve us at the second floor and they keep asking us whether we have completely received our order or not. 

3.  3. It’s a Muslim restaurant, so we will have zero doubt about its Halal status..People can eat at ease..

Will we come again??? No and yes..Not unless they improved/upgraded their services and foods...If they do that, I have faith that they can compete with well-known fast food restaurants.

Yeah yeah..I bet most of Playgirlz/Boyz are aware of this..I'm a noob..Forgive me..Last I checked, the official color is Periwinkle..Due to some complains, they change it to Yellow...So more reasons for me to add more yellowness in my wardrobe, accessories and my kitschy stuffs..woot woot..

Haaa..How I wish I'm a Korean Playgirlz.. T_T

After School: Always In My Heart~

Owh today, I'm in my girl crush mode..Can't stop thinking about After School..Can't stop browsing for their latest videos etc *hanyan*

I've been waiting patiently for their comeback and have to admit..Their comeback is worth of waiting for..Their MVs, performances, dance choreographies are as usual~superb and complete with jaw-dropping effect...

This particular comeback, we can see the rise of the 3rd generation member, Nana..She's shining like a goddess in their MVs and their performances...She's getting more lines to sing and now one of the main dancers. Camera simply loves her as they keep focusing on her on stage..(and rap!! I loooove her rap! Cute and edgy at the same time!)..I can't peel my eyes off her and UEE (no no no, I'm not a homosexual) every time I watched their live performances..

McD Banana Toffee Sundae

Last friday (ehem, another put-off entry because jan-jang......I don't have internet connection for 3 days..lame!), I went to McD Bangi with The Roommate. Our mission was to purchase the Blue Coca Cola Can Glass Meal..ehehehehe...So here I saw new sundae flavor: Banana Toffee.. Curiosity hits me and I gave it a try...

My personal review on this new sundae flavor? Depends on the person himself/herself..The Roommate found it delicious..For me, it's an acquired taste..At first, I was gross!! It taste like you pour a bottle of cough syrup into your sundae...But after a few spoonful, I finally tasted the delicious banana and toffee flavors..And I finished it! I'm quite surprised because I'm on the brink of tossing the sundae away..

Have quite a long chat with The Roommate..We didn't even noticed the time passing by..And she kinda blames me and the Blue Coke Can aura for making her miss soap drama Nora Elena..Cis!! Hahahaha..

I watched this movie twice..First with The Federal Counsel (yeah yeah, they also know how to have fun you noob..hahaha) and second time with The Officer..Why I have the heart to watched them twice?? Because this movie is...one word only..SUPERB..recommended..

1. The actor potraying Thor, Chris Hemsworth is speechlessly hot! Familiar with his handsome face?? He also played as 2009 Star Trek's James T Kirk father, George Kirk...

What an eye candy..Don't you agree??

2. This supposed to be serious movie have funny (not cheap) elements in it! I had a few laugh myself even though I've watched it twice.. :)

3. Oh yeah, I'm fan of comic/book-adaptation movies. It's fun to watch the cartoon characters are bring to life..

4. I'd give this movie 9 out of 10..

Overly High Maintenance Women~

No no no.I’m not talking about us, women being financially high-maintenance. It’s about emotionally high-maintenance.  I always wonder why I always failed in a relationship. After a few months, guys will gradually start to lose interest in me. Leaving me wondering why…

Then, in those moping (Yeah silly me!) sessions, I often blame myself for not being beautiful enough (I’m an average gal with little nose bridge and toothy gap), not smart enough etc until it broke me. I’ve become a girl with self-esteem of -80 degree Celsius (Brrr..Brrr).

Then one day, I’ve been re-reading my November 2010-issue CLEO and I stumbled upon this article. “The BIGGEST Relationship Mistakes Women Make”.  One mistake HIT me like a big rock falling out of the sky (Ouch!). “Women being overly high-maintenance”. Men usually can accept us being financially high-maintenance, ESPECIALLY if we buy them ourselves. It’s being emotionally high-maintenance that makes men running away, far far away from us...

Emotionally high-maintenance women need a lot of attention, pick on the smallest missteps, are highly sensitive, being too needy, and worst of all, expecting men to have sudden ability of reading our minds.  Sure, no woman wants to be like that but when we become so comfortable with him that we started to let our insecurities conquering us. That’s when things started to get ugly.

It got me thinking. Yes I have to admit, I’m overly emotionally high-maintenance. I always expect my partner to READ my mind.Muahahaha.If like that, I should have just date Professor X from X-Men instead.Hahahaha. I NEED to change. I WILL and I WANT to change. Are you gals like me? Please does change before our men start avoiding our calls and SMSes. Before we start blaming others and before we start our self-criticism which will eventually cost our self-esteem lead to our self-destruction. I’ve been there. Now I’m proud owner of myself, proud of my achievements and GRATEFUL with everything HE has granted me with.

Paddington House of Pancakes and Me~

When I first spotted Paddington House of Pancakes was when I was out with my mom (leaving my little brothers behind with my dad *evil laugh*) looking for accessories to match her new blouse. Both avid pancake lovers, we tried and love them instantly. Crispy on the outside, smooth with melt-in-the-mouth-feeling on the inside.  Then when I’m back to UPM, she dragged my dad and my little brothers to this place. They also (ahem! except for my second brother) loving this place. Dad keeps chanting “Paddington, Paddington”.  And he even goes as far as by saying he dreamt of Paddington. Yeah right Dad! You’re just making thousand excuses to go there…Hahaha…Well with me going back there with The Architect, makes me missing my wacky family even more! T_T

Here is where I got my very own decorative latte (err..actually I dunno the proper term for this and I'm too lazy to ask Uncle Google so I simply made it up..*putting an innocent face*)…I always see and watched them but never really had one. So here is my first official decorative latte. And the The Architect had to ruin my glorious moment by saying it’s hideous. Cis! Hahahaha…Whatever… I still wanna gloated over my first latte… J

Kinda fun eating them but word of warning though, if you have small and 'mengada' stomach like me, please SHARE them..Hahaha..

Then we watched RIO.......

What do I think about this movie?? Well, it's entertaining..I had a few big laughs and..........that was it...the plot is kinda forgettable..Yeah, the moment you step out from the cinema, you'll forget about it. This movie doesn't really gives big out-of-cinema impact..But it was really worth watching it..It's not like you keep looking at your watch waiting for this movie to finish.. :)
